Heman is a rural community in the Afigya Kwabre South District facing significant challenges in accessing safe and clean drinking water. Residents often rely on distant or unsafe water sources, which affects household health and the well-being of livestock. Limited access to potable water hinders daily activities and agricultural productivity. This project aims to address these water scarcity issues and improve access to safe drinking water for both humans and animals.

Borehole Technical Specifications

  1. Borehole Depth: 60 meters
  2. Pump Type: Hand pump
  3. Water Quality Test:Conducted by Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) to ensure the water meets national drinking water standards.
  4. Livestock Trough:A dedicated trough to provide water for animals, covering the needs of both humans and livestock
